You’ll find a book of info at the farmhouse including local walks but here are a few practical facts.
HEATHFIELD
Heathfield (1.5 miles away) is the nearest town, offering a great butcher, a greengrocer, a wonderful deli as well as several supermarkets including a small Waitrose.
It is easy to get supermarket deliveries directly to the house.
NEARBY FARM SHOPS & CAFES
Tylers Ground, just the other side of Waldron, offers great coffee, fabulous food and you can buy from their farm shop too.
There are many other local farm shops selling local produce with cafes including Tottingworth and Buxted Farm shop. One of our local Waldron farms even has a 24-hour cheese vending machine.
LOCAL PUBS
The Star Inn at Waldron is our much-loved local pub and if you tell them you are staying with us they will offer you a 10% discount. Big fires in the winter and gorgeous gardens when the sun is shining.
There are other fine hostelries nearby many of which are also within walking distance including The Star at Old Heathfield and the Blackboys Inn.
